Cool-Shield Kit (2015 - 2021 Subaru WRX / 2011 - 2022 STI)
The first step to reducing on-track brake temperatures often involves removing the factory splash shields.
The CLN Racing Cool-Shield kit provides heat shields for your outer tie-rod end and lower ball joint boots. More importantly they expose the inboard face of the brake rotors to cool air and provide the inside of the brake rotor hat to access more cool air to draw through the cooling vanes. Simply by removing and replacing your factory splash shields with the Cool-Shields you get the best of both worlds.
Constructed from Laser Cut 6061 Aluminum, and all hardware is Stainless Steel, the Cool-Shields are extremely durable. Lifetime warranty for normal use.
Note: There are several part numbers for Subaru front knuckles. These are for 5X114.3 wheel bolt pattern VA chassis style front knuckles.
